Kenwood: summer, 1967.

Sara over at MTBFR has turned up this photo of John, George and Julian, outside the front door at Kenwood in the summer o' lovin'. Compare with Lizzie Bravo's shot of the garage. There's also a glimpse of the old Tarrant garage on the right of the new pic. Lovely, as Partridge would have it, stuff.

  1. Great detective work, as usual! I didn't recognize the place when I saw the photo (it has been around facebook for a few days) but now when you compared it to my photo it makes sense. What seemed to be a silly idea, taking a photo of Cynthia's car in the garage, ended up having a purpose!

  2. Cynthia's Porsche 912 showing in your photo, Lizzie, is also visible behind George in the "new" photo.

  3. George is playing the same guitar that John is playing in attic studio photos (you can see it in colour)
