Kenwood: Stan Parkes & Hayling Island.

A pic of John's cousin Stan Parkes outside Kenwood, together with John's light blue Ferrari which cost him two grand in February, 1965. The other photo is the supermarket that Pete Shotton ran on Hayling island. John, Stan and Pete once engaged in a near suicidal road race from Hayling island to Kenwood, involving John's Ferrari and Pete's Spitfire. (I know absolutely nothing about cars). I believe the post office building has been re-named Shotton Court, and there is a plaque dedicated to Pete on the wall there - something which doubtless amuses him no end.
