i was standing outside paul's house, as usual, and i met a young man who was going in to interview john and paul and he didn't have a camera, so i let him take mine. there was only one frame left in the film and he took that photo and gave me the film. i gave him an extra film to take inside. mick jagger was there that day too. he had never seen this photo until about two years ago when he was telling this story lining up for a paul concert in london and my friend said she knew the girl who had let him use her camera. teenagers! it never occurred to us to trade phone numbers. we have spoken on the phone and keep in touch through e-mails. we haven't figured out the exact date yet but it's late march 1967.
