Julian's room?: ceiling.

When Joe Baiardi visited Kenwood last year, he managed to actually get in and have a good look at the interior. Renovation was (inevitably) underway. In what may have been Julian's room, he noticed that the workmen had stripped the ceiling back to reveal this unusual "circus tent" design. They couldn't say for sure whether it dates from the Lennon-era or not. But there it is...or was. Thanks, as ever, to him for sending the pic.

  1. Hi,
I'm quite sure the Circus Tent design dates back to the Lennon period, examine the photos of the Sunroom and the motif along the outside, also the games room from the period can be seen with similar strip-design!

  2. Yes, the question is was it there during John's time, or had it been covered by then? I suspect it pre-dates the John period.
