    The second one looks like being taken in Spain during filming of "How I won the war" - he is wearing the "desert" uniform and it has been reported that he took his RR there.

    Yes, that's where it's from. One of the reasons he got the psychedelic paint job done was because all the sand in Spain had wrecked the black paint which was on it before.
